Taming Worry is  an 8-week group designed to support children between the ages of 7-9 and 10-13 as they explore their feelings of fear, anxiety, and worry in a fun and encouraging environment

Through the exploration of their worries through activites, crafts, and discussion; the children learn skills and strategies to cope with their fears and anxiety in a supportive setting with their peers.

Topics explored include:

• symptoms of anxiety
• individual anxiety triggers
• how our brains work
• self talk
• negative thoughts
• mindfulness & movement.

A group for parents/guardians is held at the same time in another room. This provides support to the parent/guardians(s) and encourages families to practice and discuss skills together between group sessions.

Please Note: There are limited spots in our camps and spots are first come first serve. Once forms have been completed and payment has been received your child(ren) will have a spot saved. Registration can be completed up until the day of the camp. Any registrations received after the start date will not be accepted.
