Every donation is important and Navera Community Connections greatly appreciates your support.
Our programs at the day care follow the Play & Exploration curriculum and our meals follow the Canadian Food Guide. Our children have a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. Early Childhood Educators work in partnership with the parents to ensure each individual child’s developmental needs are met.
The E.D Feehan Child & Family Centre has 47 spots for children including dedicated spots for teen parents. Our facility was a previous demonstration site for the Ministry of Education.
“We believe that the environment children are in should be one that is welcoming and nurturing with an emphasis on respect, co-operation, courtesy, personal dignity, security and non-violence. “

Janelle began working with Navera Community Connection in 2016 as an Early Childhood Educator at the E.D. Feehan location. In 2017, she transitioned to Team Lead and then Assistant Director at the newly opened Rosewood Early Learning Centre. Janelle has returned to E.D. Feehan to be the Director and she is excited about her new role and to be working with so many amazing families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and watching her daughter take part in a variety of activities.
Vanessa Feser started as the Director of Early Learning Centre in July 2023 at Navera Community Connections- ED Feedan.
Vanessa has lived in Saskatoon for most of her adult life. After receiving her diploma in ECE in 2000, she embarked on a remarkable career journey dedicated to early learning. From working on the floor in the preschool room to inclusion coordinator she became the director with the same organization.
In the fall of 2007, she started working as a Program Consultant with the Ministry of Education, Early Years Program for 11 years, gaining more knowledge and experience in the early learning sector.
In the fall of 2018, she moved to rural Saskatchewan, where she opened up a brand-new child-care center for many rural communities to utilize. With a few struggles along the way, the center is now running at full capacity and doing very well for the community and surrounding rural areas.
After living in rural SK for almost five years, she felt it was time to return to the busy city life. As a new Director of Early Learning at ED Feehan she is poised to lead with passion and dedication.
